Ronán Noone (Playwright)
Noone believes in stories that resonate beyond the theatre’s door and that add ideas to the national conversation. He believes in the playwright as thinker traveling in the direction of their fear. His play The Smuggler just ended a sold out run in March at the Irish Rep in NYC. It won the Best Playwright award at the 1st Irish Festival of New York in 2019. The Second Girl was the inaugural winner of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) Excellence in Playwriting Award (2015) and an Edgerton Award winner in 2014. Conor Bagley (Director)
Conor Bagley is a New York based director who is thrilled to chart this smart story, on the island it was conceived. Directing: Off-Broadway: TWO BY FRIEL by Brian Friel (Irish Rep). Liam Bellman-Sharpe (Sound Design)
Liam Bellman-Sharpe (Sound Designer) is an Australian multi-disciplinarian working primarily in sound and music for live performance. Liam’s work includes musical and sonic scores and environments for theatre, dance, installation, and hybrid forms. As a composer, sound designer, orchestrator, musician, and music director, Liam’s work has been heard in the United States, Europe, Hong Kong, and Australia. Liam holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and an MFA in Sound Design from the Yale School of Drama.
Timothy Toothman (Stage Manager)
Timothy is pleased to return for another season at the Playhouse, where he has stage managed over two dozen productions since 2003. In addition, he has worked at numerous regional theatres including Geva Theatre Center in Rochester, NY; Kansas City Rep; San Jose Rep and fifteen years at Arizona Theatre Company. A member of AEA since 1974, he has been a summer Island resident since 1992 and an annual Vineyard visitor for 15 years prior to that.
