Preview Performances - Summer Only
Previews The first and second public performances are preview performances. All seats are a discounted price with reserved seating.
What is a preview performance?
A preview is best described as an opportunity for the actors and production team to see how the show plays with an audience and identify any unseen opportunities for improvement or further development. A preview is a fully staged performance. Best of all, you, the audience member, can spread the word to your friends about the great show you just saw!
Locals' Night
Provide proof of year-round residency and get a discounted ticket! Price of ticket depends on the show. Please check with the box office.

Military Discount
Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse is proud to be part of the Blue Star Theatre network and offers discounts to active US Military Personnel, Veterans and their immediate families.
All active Military Personnel and Veterans are welcome to FOUR free tickets to MV Playhouse shows per calendar year.
Immediate family members of active duty military personnel get in for 25% off. Military ID card required.

Card to Culture
Access the power of culture with your EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare Card
Card to Culture is a collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of cultural organizations across the Commonwealth that help broaden cultural accessibility.
We offer EBT and WIC cardholders two tickets at $15 per person, per show. Please contact the box office to arrange tickets. Additionally, ConnectorCare members receive a 20% discount for all tickets over $10. Tickets must be purchased at the Box Office with a valid ConnectorCare ID card provided.
Did you know anyone with a Massachusetts-issued EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer), WIC, or ConnectorCare Health Insurance card can get reduced or free admission into more than 300 cultural organizations across the Commonwealth? Playwrights Welcome
Playwrights Welcome is a program developed for Dramatists Guild of America Members by Samuel French along with Dramatists Play Service, Dramatic Publishing, Music Theatre International, Playscripts and Rodgers and Hammerstein. The goal is simple: to provide free access to theater for playwrights, composers and lyricists. We are invested in the success and artistic health of our industry’s writers, and by extension the vibrancy of the American theater. We are also aware that attending theater is an integral part to how writers learn their craft and grow as artists.
Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse is proud to take part in Playwrights Welcome, which offers available tickets to professional playwrights on the day of a performance, free of charge. To receive a ticket through Playwrights Welcome at MV Playhouse, please contact Geneva Corwin, Box Office Manager, at geneva@mvplayhouse.org or 508-696-6300 x118. You must present your Dramatists Guild membership card when you pick up your ticket. Tickets are available ONLY on the day of performance, limit one per show.
