Summer Stars is for ages 8 – 14. The camp is held in July and August at the Playhouse at 24 Church Street in downtown Vineyard Haven from 9 am until 1 pm, Monday through Friday.
WINTER STARS is MV Playhouse’s after-school theater program for kids. Sessions are held from November until April. A fun exploration of all things theater, with special focus on developing performance skills and working together. Weekly activities include theater games, improvisation exercises, acting lessons and much more! The program is open to all island children in grades 4 to 8, with or without theater experience.
A rollicking troupe of dedicated adult actors and writers perform witty adaptations and original scripts, incorporating improvisation and lots of audience participation! Outdoors at the Tisbury Amphitheater, Saturdays at 10 am during July and August. The performance is canceled, only if it is raining at showtime. Perfect for the whole family, from newborns to grandparents!
FOR ADULTS

A fun introduction to acting and improvisation for adults of all ages. No experience necessary, but a willingness to participate and to laugh is required!
This one-hour class of gentle movement is drawn from the Chi Kung tradition of Tai Chi. This mindful practice builds strength, balance and vitality. Open to adults of all ages.
