Get thee to Katharine Cornell Theater in Vineyard Haven this weekend for another exciting episode of SHAKESPEARE FOR THE MASSES, presented by The Vineyard Playhouse.

This rollicking troupe of players returns to their roots this weekend, presenting HAMLET, the first play performed when they began 5 seasons ago. Extensively reworked, this lively one-hour staged-reading version combines the troupe's hallmark silliness with an inspired regard for Shakespeare's greatest masterpiece. Tragedy was never so much fun.

Starring Scott Barrow as the Melancholy Dane, aided and abetted by Chris Roberts, Molly Purves, Amy Sabin Barrow, Jill Macy, Xavier Powers, Leslie J. Stark, Chelsea McCarthy and Nicole Galland.

Shakespeare for the Masses is Quick and Painless and Free – there is no charge (but donations are gratefully accepted at the door). The show is perfect for ages 10 and up!
