JO BRISBANE writes from her home in East Dennis, MA, where she has also enjoyed producing and performing in the many theaters across Cape Cod. Two of her plays have been published: “Rose Johnson and the Cathode Ray Tube” (Smith Scripts , U.K.) and “The Revelation of James Hampton” (Next Stage Press). Brisbane recently wrote “Storm Fetch” for the Cape Rep Theatre Young Company, along with other projects. Brisbane has worked as a journalist and in public relations for various nonprofits. She is currently completing a Certificate in Dramatic Writing as part of the Dramatists Guild Institute, focusing on musical theatre productions. Her plays can be found on the New Play Exchange.

JOE FORBRICH'S play "The Whaleship Essex" enjoyed a successful run at Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse in 2014, and at The Shattered Globe Theatre in Chicago. Joe also appeared as an actor at the Playhouse in Fly, a play about the Tuskegee Airmen that was featured as part of its African American Festival of Theater & Music. He has acted in six Broadway plays, and numerous movies and television shows. He is also a carpenter and has built two boats. He just finished a play entitled Water Always Wins.

ADAM GARTH lives in New York’s East Village and works on Martha’s Vineyard. He is currently completing the Certificate Degree program in playwriting at The Dramatist’s Guild.

Throughout careers in teaching, broadcast journalism and communications, MADGE KAPLAN has written memoir vignettes, essays, poems, and short plays - often related to or alongside award-winning reporting on US healthcare. Many of her pieces have hit the airwaves, appeared in online publications, and been performed. Madge’s one-act play, The Last Appointment, was produced at the Martha's Vineyard Playhouse in 2011 as part of Hot Tickets, a showcase of women playwrights. Madge lives in Cambridge, MA where, as a newbie retiree, she is now able to devote more time to playwriting.

JOHN ZEISEL, author of I’m Still Here: A new Philosophy of Alzheimer’s Care, has been a seasonal Chilmark resident for nearly 40 years. The message of his book—those living with dementia are still here and deserve a quality of life—is the basis of his 5-minute play “Let’s Go”. He recently helped plan the offices of the Martha’s Vineyard Center for Living in Vineyard Haven in support of their excellent day programs. John’s theatre involvement began in his youth when he acted in summer stock and stage-managed and acted off-off Broadway. Let’s Go is his 2nd short play concerned with living with Alzheimer’s dementia.
