Victor Talmadge (Prospero)
Mr. Talmadge is very pleased to be returning for the third time to MV Playhouse (after appearing in RED in 2016 and PURE CONFIDENCE in 2007). Most recently he was seen as Roy Cohn in ANGELS IN AMERICA I and II at Oakland Theater Project. He has worked extensively in New York and regional theaters and was on Broadway in the world premiere of David Mamet's November. He played “The King” in the Tony Award winning production of the Broadway National Tour of The King and I and was seen as Scar in the Los Angeles production of The Lion King. Mr. Talmadge boasts extensive film and television credits as well and he was a recurring character on the TV series, Manhattan and Vegas. As a playwright, his play, The Gate Of Heaven, was awarded The Nakashima Peace Prize. It was the first live theater to be produced at The U.S. Holocaust Memorial and has been subsequently been produced around the country. He served as Aurelia Henry Reinhardt Professor and Professor of the Practice, Mills College at Northeastern University.
Paul Padua (Caliban / Gonzalo)
Paul Padua is a long time Vineyard actor. Recently he was in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, THE OUTCASTS OF PENIKESE ISLAND, and TO MY WHITE FRIENDS WHO KNOW ME at Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse. Paul also performs in THE FABULISTS: THEATER FOR CHILDREN every Saturday morning in the Tisbury Amphitheater.
Anna Yukevich (Ariel / Original Compositions & Music Direction)
Anna Yukevich is a multi-disciplinary artist and life coach based in Brooklyn, NY. Recent/favorite acting credits include Romeo in ROMEO & JULIET, Helena in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Mark Antony in JULIUS CAESAR (MV Playhouse); Jess in Hi, Friends! (Short film, dir. Wheaton Simis, High Dive Studios, 2024). Anna studied drama at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. Her debut EP, You Don’t Know Me Yet, will be released later this year. Diego Benavente Zúñiga (Alonso)
Diego is an artist whose life experiences and multicultural background are vividly expressed through his art, captivating audiences with his unique approach to mixed media artistry. This is his stage debut.
Ralph Bologna (Ferdinand)
Ralph is a Connecticut born, New York based actor and proud Wagner College 2025 Theater Performance grad. He is delighted to be returning to the Tisbury Amphitheater in THE TEMPEST! His favorite credits include ROMEO AND JULIET (Romeo), MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Claudio), THE BOYS IN THE BAND (Harold), and RENT (Ensemble). Haley Hewson (Antonio / Stephano)
Raised on the Island, Haley grew up in the Vineyard Playhouse while attending Summer Stars theatre camp. Throughout high school, Haley was an award-winning performer, both in school productions and as a member of the Minnesingers. After graduating from MVRHS, Haley went on to receive a bachelor’s in English and a master’s in secondary education. They have spent the last seven years teaching in Massachusetts, as well as directing middle and high school productions, including “Twelfth Night,” “The Addams Family Musical” and “The Sound of Music.” This is their debut amphitheater performance.
Sadie Moore (Miranda)
Sadie is a musical theater major at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee Class of ‘28 and a visiting student at Columbia University in New York for the upcoming year. This is her first professional production and her first play! Her favorite role she’s ever performed is as Elle Woods in LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL. Valerie Whiteneck (Sebastian / Trinculo)
Valerie is a Boston-based actor who has worked in theater and immersive entertainment across New England. Their recent regional theater credits include Picasso, PICASSO AT THE LAPIN ANGLE, Cheryl, EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL, and Scrooge, A CHRISTMAS CAROL Valerie extends their gratitude and excitement for this whirlwind show to everyone involved with this production, who are new friends and beloved family alike.
MJ Bruder Munafo (Director)
MJ serves as Artistic & Executive Director of MV Playhouse. She has worked at the Playhouse in numerous capacities since she first appeared onstage in 1984. Her work as a stage director is extensive. Recent credits include AMERICAN ARTIST, BILLY BALOO, MISS MAYBELLINE’S NOCTURNAL FLIGHTS OF FANCY, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.
