Winter Shows and Events
After our six-month extended summer season ends, the Playhouse continues with additional performances and events from November through April.
Poetry Café: MV Poet Laureate Arnie Reisman organizes readings by Island poets whose words offer unique perspectives on life on the Vineyard and in the world at large. Once a month from November through April.
Wicked Good Musical Review: From December until April, led by musical director, Molly Conole, this group of talented and enthusiastic musicians and singers performs a selection of songs from standards to Broadway. Sure the warm up the coldest winter evening!
Shakespeare for the Masses: Quick, Painless, and Free! Very informal interpretations condense a full length play into a one hour romp that includes lots of comedic antics. Both the cast and audience share a great time!
Monday Night at the Movies: In collaboration with Island Entertainment, we present a diverse selection of classic movies from favorites to lesser known flicks from November through March.
