Allison is a visual artist, actor, and writer. Currently she works as a Features Writer at MV Times. She’s been a professional visual artist for over 30 years, creating murals, paintings, illustrations, and mixed media pieces. Her acting background includes theatre, film, commercials, and comedy. She is the founder of the popular Rochester NY based sketch comedy troupe, EstroFest, which has been running for over 20 years. Allison’s writing credits include, MV Times, Rochester Magazine, City Newspaper, RocParent, Democrat & Chronicle, and Vineyard Style Magazine. Allison’s husband, Eric Cady was hired by South Mountain Company, and they moved to Martha’s Vineyard in October of 2022. They are both loving island life and can’t quite get over how lovely it is here. And of how the turkeys rule the island.
