Video Auditions:                     You may submit a video audition, headshot and resume at any time, but no later than May 20. A YouTube link is preferred. Please select one short speech from the show*.  Email to auditions@mvplayhouse.org

In-person Auditions:              Saturday, May 13 from 10 am – 12 noon. Adults and teens only.

Audition Location:                  Tisbury Amphitheater, Tashmoo Overlook, Vineyard Haven                                    
Rain location only: MV Playhouse, 24 Church Street, Vineyard Haven

How to Audition:                    Arrive at the audition any time during the scheduled audition hours. Everyone who comes to the audition will be seen. Actors should be prepared to perform a short (under 2 minutes, please) Shakespearean monologue from any play, but preferably from Twelfth Night.

Music/Singing:                        *If you sing or play an instrument, please prepare about 16 measures of a song to perform, in addition to your monologue.

Roles open:                             For principal and supporting roles: seeking energetic, non-equity teen and adult actors of all ages, abilities, and ethnic backgrounds. Must have housing on Martha’s Vineyard. All roles are open.

Show dates:                            The play will run from July 12 – August 5, 2023 (a total of 13 performances)
Wed. July 12; then Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 6 pm  

Rehearsals begin the week of June 12 (exact schedule TBA)
