Heartbeat is a play about the thin lines between delusion and reality for three characters locked in a love triangle. Set in a rooming house on the Atlantic City fringe and a hideaway in the Pine Barrens, Ruby, her husband Will and a stranger named Caesar must make their fragile peace with a universe of their own creation.
