The Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse will host its last Monday Night Special of the season this Monday, August 29, at 7:30 pm on the Patricia Neal Stage. The special will be a reading of “Cotton Mill Girls” by Victoria Byerly, devised and directed by Joann Green Breuer, and based on Ms. Byerly’s nonfiction collection of “Personal Histories of Womanhood and Poverty in the South.” The reading is sponsored in part by the Liman Foundation, and may include a postshow Q and A.
