A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Gerry practices internal medicine in Vineyard Haven, MA. He and his wife Martha and daughter Anna moved from Boston to the Vineyard in 1995 and quickly grew attached to the Martha's Vineyard Playhouse. In Boston, Gerry founded the Buster-Scimitar Theater, which specialized in European farce and original American drama. He was also Publisher of Alpha-Bete, a Free-Form Art Sheet, and President of Z'Arts, a Boston-based arts networking organization. Gerry performs each June 16th in Arts and Society's Bloomsday Concert. His comic novel "Cruise Ship Doctor" was published in 2003. He is currently shopping two screenplays and his essays and reviews appear occasionally in The Vineyard Gazette and the M.V. Times. Gerry also serves proudly on the island as Medical Director of Hope Hospice.

David has been a full time resident of Martha’s Vineyard since 2014. He is Managing Director and Head of US Investments for Najeti Ventures LLC, a private equity firm in Connecticut. Prior to that he worked for JP Morgan for 22 years, where he was a Managing Director and headed various divisions within the bank. He has served on the Boards of Directors of Triton Resources, Deep River Snacks, Annie’s, MVP, Data Path, Direct Fuels and Prestolite Electric. He has also served as CFO of Data Path and CEO of Triton Resources. He is co-owner of the Behnke Doherty Gallery in Vineyard Haven (and of a previous gallery in Washington, CT). David is also a professional singer and a graduate of the Opera Program at the Yale School of Music, a recipient of a grant for study at the Paris Conservatory of Music, and a resident artist with the Tri Cities Opera Company. He performs frequently on island including performances with the Island Theater Workshop. He is currently Chair of the Baker Institute for Animal Health at Cornell University on the board of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society. Previous non-profit board positions have included the Advisory Council of the Trustees of Reservations, the CT Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, the Connecticut Fund for the Environment, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, The Housatonic Valley Association, the Steep Rock Land Trust and the Washington Art Association. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MM from Yale University, and a BA from Hamilton College.

Wallace Bullock is a writer, teacher, actor, and historical dramatist. Wallace has a one man show entitled A TASTE OF JFK, MALCOLM X, AND ADAM CLAYTON POWELL. Wallace has performed the show in many theaters across the United States and Europe, including at the Playhouse in August, 2013. Wallace is a retired high school English teacher, where he taught AP English and directed school productions. He directed productions such as GUYS AND DOLLS, GYPSY, ANNIE, PAJAMA GAME, ROMEO AND JULIET AND HARVEY. Wallace holds a BA in psychology, from Widener University and an MA in English Literature from Brooklyn College of CUNY.

As a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, Carolyn has been affiliated with Harvard Medical School for many years as a clinician and clinical supervisor at the Judge Baker Children's Center in Boston and as a clinical supervisor to clinicians working with children in the Boston school system through the resiliency program PEAR. In addition, for the past several years, Carolyn has volunteered her time doing direct service with children in under-served neighborhoods and participated on numerous boards dedicated to the resiliency and well being of children and families at risk in Boston and Miami. Carolyn has had a life long love of theater since seeing Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge on her first trip to NYC from her family home in Charleston, S.C when she was 9. She is an avid theatergoer and believes strongly, not only in the entertainment value of theater, but also in its ability to enlighten and educate us through our empathic and transformative experiences. Now that she is retired and spends much of her time in NYC, she frequents the theater multiple times a week and is so appreciative that the Martha's Vineyard Playhouse provides comparable high quality theater to our wonderful island.

Dr. Cohn served as President of the Playhouse Board from 1998-2005 and remains an enthusiastic patron of the theater. During his tenure, the Playhouse "grew up" and became the highly regarded professional theater it is today.

Linda was bitten by the theater bug at an early age in her native Minnesota when she landed the dream role of Liesl in The Sound of Music. A lifelong love of acting has kept her active in Boston commercials, film and theater, and she has most recently appeared in David Ive’s Sure Thing at the Katherine Cornell. She has directed and produced for both stage and screen, and has taught acting improv to aspiring actors. Beginning at WBZ-TV, a decades-long sales and marketing career led her behind-the-scenes to her most recent role as a purveyor of financing to independent film and stage producers. Linda has written many vocal compositions throughout her life and is currently working on a musical comedy she hopes to land on Broadway. Eight months of the year, she lives on the Martha’s Vineyard seashore; the other four, she’s not so lucky.

Paul has been a member of Screen Actors Guild and Equity for over 30 years, working in all areas including film, television, commercials, voice over and stage in both NYC and Los Angeles. In Ct, he was one the Board of Directors for A.S.A.P (After School Arts Program) and the Shepaug Friends of Music as well as The Judea Garden. He was also the Summer Grant Director for ASAP. After moving to Martha’s Vineyard last year, Paul joined the board for Vineyard Village and is an active volunteer, driving Seniors to appointments. He is also a member of the Island Community Chorus, The James Luce Play Readers and volunteers at the MV Animal Shelter.

Paula Lyons was an award-winning Consumer Investigative Reporter who worked in both local and network television for 25 years, then plied those communication skills in to a new career as an Executive Coach, helping C-level executives all across the country, become more powerful and effective, communicating vision and strategy throughout their organizations. She did that work at Bates Communications in Wellesley, MA.

Currently, she is a regular panelist with her husband, Arnie Reisman, on National Public Radio’s weekly comedy quiz show “Says You.”

She and her husband moved full time to Martha’s Vineyard in 2011. Paula credits her early immersion in both elocution lessons and theater with giving her the confidence to take on a public role in television. She sees the same thing happening here in the various childrens’ programs of the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse. Theater transforms and Paula is happy to see those transformations take place here on Martha’s Vineyard throughout the year.

Judy is a Vineyard resident and stalwart supporter of the Playhouse. She has served on the Board for many years and even appeared on its stage in RUNAWAY BEAUTY QUEEN.

Arnie has been an award-winning writer, producer and performer for four decades. At present he writes a column, The Washashore Chronicles, for the Vineyard Gazette. Since the inception of the series in 1996, he has been a regular panelist on National Public Radio's Says You!, the weekly comedy quiz show, sitting next to his wife, Paula Lyons, former national consumer reporter. In 2009, with Ann Carol Grossman, he produced for PBS The Powder & the Glory, a 90-minute film focusing on the business rivalry of Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden. The film has been developed into a stage musical, War Paint. Starring Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, the show opens in Chicago in the summer, 2016. In the spring of 2015 the MV Playhouse produced his play, Not Constantinople. His national telecasts include Hollywood On Trial (Oscar-nominated documentary on the blacklist) and The Other Side of the Moon (90-minute PBS special for 20th anniversary of the lunar landing). In 2014 he was named Martha's Vineyard Poet Laureate. He has authored two books of poems, Clara Bow Died For Our Sins (2015) and Sodom and Costello (June 2016).

Alex has been involved in the arts all his life having performed on stage and worked in production management and administration. He grew up working at the Vineyard Playhouse on productions technical aspects and served as Assistant Technical Director for the summer season. He spent three years as Associate Production manager at The Lincoln Center Festival and consulted on the building and renovation of theaters with a firm based in San Francisco. He currently works with non-profit organizations on development strategies and fundraising initiatives in Boston, MA. He and his wife, Rumena come to West Tisbury as often as they can.
